What’s happening this half term?
Our themes for this half term are food and colour.
We will be learning how to subitise, recognise numbers to five and order numbers to five. We will be counting out amounts as well as finding one more and one fewer. We will be investigating shape and repeating patterns. Through our bear hunt topic we will be working on positional language and spatial reasoning.
We will be having themed weeks based on a teddy bears’ picnic and superheroes. We will also have book based weeks based on Goldilocks, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and Oliver’s Fruit Salad.
We will be learning how to read and write all the letter sounds this term in our phonics sessions.
Reading books are changed every Thursday.
Home-School books will be given out every Friday and need to be handed back in the following Wednesday.
Snack money is £2 per week

We made helicopters, hot air balloons, police cars, ambulances, fire engines, racing cars and rockets. We were very creative and had a very busy, enjoyable day.
We made diva lamps. We read the story of Rama and Sita and loved acting it out using masks.
